This episode is a relaxed little freestyle lesson in sleep. I talk about sleep from the SelfSync perspective, decision making, finding purpose, and what’s really happening when your brain refuses to shut off at night.

I also share more about my work, how I think about sleep, and why what keeps you up at night is rarely just about sleep. I walk through the different ways insomnia shows up, not as a diagnosis, but as another way to think about it. You’ve heard the same thing over and over again. Let me give you a new perspective. 

Falling asleep, staying asleep, waking up at 3 or 4 a.m., or sleeping too much. Each one is pointing to something different. You have to separate them out because they come from different parts of your brain.

I also talk about vision, why losing sight of it creates more stress than we realize, and how too many decisions can exhaust you so much that you can’t fall asleep. There’s some real talk about work, business ownership, and the stories people tell online versus what actually happens behind the scenes. 

I’m telling you all of this because I don’t want you to waste time pinning over owning a business or even pinning over having a job. Do what’s right for you.
